Hangover Remedies

A bad hangover after a night of drinking is something that I’m sure absolutely no one looks forward to.

We’ve all been there at some point. After a long night of drinking, we head to bed only to wake up in the morning to a splitting headache or nausea or stomach pain (amongst other things). During your hangover, you may wonder how you can make it stop, or, at the very least, make it bearable. Well, wonder no more, because today’s infographic has got you covered.

Today’s infographic takes a look at various different ways that people have treated their hangovers with. While you may think that there are only a few surefire ways to cure a hangover, today’s infographic may prove otherwise.

You may know the traditional hangover cure (Worcester sauce, lemon juice, egg yolk, and pepper), but it’s far less likely that you’ll know about some of the crazy cures in this infographic. For example, the Dutch way to treat a hangover? A nice cup of beer. Or how about the Germanic hangover cure, which consists of pickled herring, juniper berries, and mustard berries.

Be sure to look at the rest of today’s infographic for more odd ways hangovers have been treated all around the world!
