The Reddit Invasion

I’d like to start today with a moment of silence for the Longhorns. Hate to admit the Sooners were quite better than us this year, but I’m optimistic of the future. Anyway today’s infographic The Reddit Invasion provides us with a brief timeline outlining the history of the website along with other interesting facts. If you haven’t visited Reddit you should check it out sometime, when you’re not passing your time on our site that is. In a nutshell it’s a bunch of links of trending or cool things on the internet that people decided were worth sharing.

If you’re always feeling like the last to know things this site will really help you out. Reddit was founded by Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian when they were 22 years old. They then sold the company to Conde Nast for $20 million who added the ability for everyone to create their own subreddit. In 2008, the same year subreddit were added, Reddit went open source as well.
