Most brands and businesses are getting ready for consumer spending after Thanksgiving for big shopping events like Black Friday, Cyber Monday and everything leading up to Christmas — however, it would be quite unfortunate to dismiss the massive $6.9 billion dollars being spent this year on Halloween!

While you might think that Halloween is more focused towards children and teenagers, it’s actually the adults that spend more money on average. The average spending per person comes in at $74. Adult costumes make up for $1.2 billion of sales, while children’s costumes will fall just short of that billion dollar mark at $950 million.
