What Type Of Learner Are You?

Discover what type of learner you are

Learning became even more difficult in the last year because of the pandemic and prevalent remote learning. Many teachers have had to adapt to find new learning techniques to keep their students interested.

It’s important to note that there are 3 primary types of learning methods: visual, kinesthetic, and auditory. A teacher would ideally offer material that encourages each type of learning. But that’s pretty hard to juggle.

Many people think they are visual learners, and our brains often do respond faster to visual aids for complex ideas. In fact, the mind almost demands we learn a certain way, so that we retain information more effectively. Information we read immediately goes into the short-term files of our brain, but when we learn properly, it gets stored directly in long-term memory

Many students have felt frustrated when they stayed up all night studying a book just to realize a few days later they’ve forgotten what they read. This generally happens more often if you don’t know what type of learner you are, and what can actually help you retain information.

So consider your learning style and fast-track your learning!
