Working From Home Without The Pain

tips to prevent back pain while working from home

Remote work has been increasing in popularity over the past few years. With technology on the rise and more people being able to do their jobs in their pajamas, it’s a wonder why anyone would want to go into an office. Although there are many perks to working from your house, there are also a few downfalls.

Many people thrive when they’re under a deadline and pressure. When that’s taken away and they have to manage their own time for their job at home, they let their work pile up and leave everything until the final day to do it. Another big issue people face is aches and pains from sitting all day.

Of course, not everyone has a home office. This leaves them to have to find a place in their house to work. People might have roommates or kids, and a lack of proper workspace for them to privately get things done without distraction. This leaves options limited and remote workers end up doing their job from the couch, or their beds, and not a proper desk like they would have in an office. This is the main way a lot of people end up with a sore back from working at home.

Luckily, there are a few things you can do if you’re working from home to prevent back pain. Try creating back support with pillows, or standing while working so you can stretch. Even working out regularly on your core can help lessen an aching back.
