The Good, Bad & Ugly of Wordpress Hosting Companies

Here’s an infographic we can relate to! We’ve used plenty of hosts during our six years of operations here at Daily Infographic. (Hostgator and Namecheap to name a few featured in the graphic.) As the host competition heats up we’ve always shopped around for one with a good mix of reliable hosting and excellent customer service.

Not to dog on any one hosting company. Every host we have used in the past hasn’t been bad, a new one usually just beats the old price. This makes sense when comparing it to this graphic: 87% of respondents would recommend their host to others. I would recommend all the hosts I’ve been with, but I won’t say that finding a better host is impossible.

From my experience, one of the main variations of hosts is that they can handle and cater to the size and popularity of websites differently. As we have grown, we’ve noticed different hosts have different price points when it comes to traffic and security. Finding the right balance may take you a little while, but is totally worth it once you find the one.
