Students Through the Ages

As most students would tell you, education is part of our identity. We may not enjoy every moment of learning, but we know that it is part of who we are and that it is how we will get to where we want to be. Education is instinctual, we begin learning instantly, taking in sights and sounds to make sense of the world. We are all products of education, but the education process has changed dramatically through the ages.

Great technological advances have influenced the accessibility of education, seeing numbers just skyrocket up to 600,000+ and having the “technology” used go from cave drawings to every student having laptops. I do love being in this technologically advanced age where many have opportunities for education, but I must say I love the idea of being a sophoclean philosopher in Ancient Greece! [Via]
